Lon Wible will retire on November 18,2022, as the executive director of the Lancaster County Office of Aging, wrapping up his 37 years of public service.

Lon first served for 19 years as an agency supervisor before her was promoted to deputy director. After 12 years in that role, he was promoted to executive director in which he served for the past five years.

He has worked with countless partners over the years including a local hospital, university, the county district attorney's office and area Meals on Wheels.

Upon his retirement , Lon says he is looking forward to spending more time with his family, travelling abroad, and exploring new avenues to advocate on behalf of the needs of our most vulnerable older adults.

Thank you for your advocacy and service, Lon. Enjoy your well- deserved retirement !
