The Office of Aging’s APPRISE Program has a new name. The organization that helps beneficiaries with questions about Medicare, Medicaid, and related insurance questions is switching from APPRISE to Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight or PA MEDI. July 1, 2021 is the effective date for this change. This will be the same program, same services for Pennsylvania’s Medicare beneficiaries, just with a new name.
