How to Find a Covid Vaccine Provider in Lancaster County:
Pennsylvania recently announced that “all Pennsylvanians age 65 and older can now receive the COVID vaccine.” However, providers are struggling to keep up with the demand for vaccines. On 2/12/2021, Lancaster County announced plans to streamline the vaccination process through a mass vaccination site, with a tentative start date of March 8th. The County created a website for local updates https://vaccinatelancaster.org/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=16
Until the mass vaccination site is operating, follow these steps to find a vaccine provider in Lancaster County.
Contact your primary doctor to see if their office is administering the vaccine to their patients. Some medical practices and specialists are taking names of their patients needing the vaccine.
If you have internet access (or if a friend or relative can do this for you)
On this site, scroll down to “Step 2: Find a Vaccine Provider”. Under Step 2 you will find a map of vaccine providers. The blue dots on the map represent providers that might have the vaccine.
