Have you heard about our virtual Senior Center, LCOA Virtual Connections?

Lancaster County Office of Aging Virtual Senior Center is OPEN and providing a variety of Free Activities for Lancaster County seniors age 55+. The online Senior Center has over 145 members to date and we are growing! Our February and March activities include crafts like acrylic painting, wreath making, paper crafting, home decorations and clay projects. We will be exercising with classes like Zumba, Yoga, Chair Exercises, and Barre Classes. We even are learning how to play the Ukulele and Hand Drums all from the comfort and safety of our own homes! Office of Aging provides you with FREE supplies needed to take the classes! In addition to those amazing classes, we scheduled eight weeks of technology classes that begin in February. Did you ever wonder what they mean when they talk about “The Cloud”? We will learn all about the cloud, home technology, ordering food thru Grub Hub, Uber Eats and grocery stores. We’ll learn about Alexis, Roku, Facebook, downloading digital music and books, and we’ll even learn how to contact your physician online. Sounds fun- right? Please join us by calling Debbie Groff at 717-299-7979. You need internet service and a tablet, laptop, or a computer- but some of our games can be played over the telephone. We look forward to meeting you ! Lisa Paulson, Senior Center Program Director
