In response to Covid -19 Lancaster County Office many staff are working remotely from home.

Our agency is available between 8:30 AM-5:00 PM M-F.

You can still reach us by calling 717-299-7979. Please stay on the line and our receptionists will take your name, contact information and reason for the call. The information will be forwarded to a staff member who will return you call as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept faxes currently. You can make a referral on our website using our online referral form.

You can access our online referral on our website Our website is compatible with desktop, tablets, and mobile devices. Starting on our homepage, you can use the blue menu bar at the top of the page and hover the mouse on “About Us”.
Choose “How to Make a Referral” from the drop down menu. Here you will find the link to our referral form as well as a description of other ways to complete a referral.

 The “How Do I?” section at the top of the page will guide visitors to information about programs, resource lists, volunteer opportunities, newsletters, documents and Advisory Council minutes.

Calls related to abuse, neglect, or exploitation can be reported to 717-299-7979, 24 hrs a day, seven days a week. The answering service will take your name and contact information and forward it to our Protective Services team for a return call.
