- What is an Adult Day Center?

An Adult Day Center is a day program for Older Adults who may experience memory loss, cognitive impairments or have physical limitations that require supervision and need to increase socialization. Adult Day centers are a safe and structured environment to provide daytime relief to their caregivers/family members to maintain the Older Adults independence in the community as long as possible with the support of staff at the Licensed Facilities.

Adult Day Center hours are from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

- To be able to bear weight and/or able to stand/pivot.
- Have a need to increase socialization.
- Have a need for supervision due to physical health.
- Have a need for supervision due to cognitive impairment and to prevent wandering.
- Have a need to access a meal or need a meal provided with set up.
