We have several resources for caregivers and family members, including online resources, hotlines, and local support groups.

Garden Spot Village

Group meets the second Monday of each month from 10 to 11 am in the Concord Room to provide support and education for persons providing caregiving to individuals with significant memory loss.
Upon request, free respite care is available during group meeting time for persons enrolled in Adult Day Services. Call 717-355-6010 for more information.

Memory Loss Support Group
Visit the Classes & Events page and search for "memory loss."
- Caregiver Support Group: Meets the 2nd Monday of each month from 7 to 8:30 pm.
- Early Stage Support Group Class: A six-week educational and supportive class for patients and caregivers.
- Moderate Stage Support Group Class: A four-week educational and supportive class for patients and caregivers.
- Lewy Body Support Group: Meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6 to 7:30 pm.
- Memory Cafe: Meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 4 to 5:30 pm

These groups are a free opportunity to learn from each other, find supportive understanding, be encouraged, and learn new educational information and life skills. Call 717-355-6010 for more information.
Essential Tremor Support Group
The Essential Tremors (ET) education/support group is for families and friends of person with ET, the neurological disorder that causes shaking of the hands, head, voice, legs, or trunk. The group meets quarterly on the second Thursday form 10 to 11 am in the Board Room. The group is affiliated with the ET Foundation.
Living with Loss Group
A group meets the first Wednesday of each month from 10 to 11 am in the Board Room for persons who have experienced death of a spouse or family member. The group’s focus is support and education about healthy grieving and living life after a loss.
Low Vision Support Group
The Low Vision Support Group meets the second Thursday from 3 to 4 pm in the Garden South Conference Room. This group coordinates with the National Macular Degeneration Support Group and utilizes audiovisual conferences with national experts in the field of Low Vision.
Parkinson’s Support Group
A group for individuals and their family members living with Parkinson’s disease meets the fourth Monday of each month from 2 to 3 pm in the Board Room.
