Free Zoom Classes


Beginning on 9/21/20 Office of Aging is offering FREE Virtual ZOOM classes to anyone age 55+. The classes are expected to continue through June 2021. If interested in the links to the classes, please send an email to Debbie Groff at  We have a variety of exercise bands we can mail to participants, and bingo cards if needed for our classes. Please pass this information to others so the classes are successful!  In the near future we will be adding art classes, more games, social interaction etc. Current classes that start on 9/21:


Monday at 9:15am

Class: Exercise with Kathy

Description: Kathy Ross, 9:15AM, “Exercise with Kathy;” class combining chair exercises, weights, yoga and qi-gong.

Mondays at 10:30am

Class:  Get Moving Chair Fitness Class w/Judy

Description: Judy Veser, 10:30AM, “Get Moving Chair Fitness;” class will be taught using a standard card table type chair with students both seated and standing.  Students will use their own chairs for this class, along with their own weights or body weight to perform each exercise.  If weights are not available, students can use varying sizes of plastic water bottles or small soup cans. The class will be appropriate for any age group and students will be encouraged to do only what they feel able to do.  Students will be instructed that they may use no weights and just move through the motion in the execution of some exercises that may be contraindicated.

Class: Yoga w/Marygrace

Description: Marygrace Lomboy, 9AM, “Yoga;” class students will be given the option to use their own yoga mats, chairs or both, students will be able to work at their own pace with modifications, the class will include: breathing exercise instruction, grounding practice to reduce stress and anxiety, yoga postures that focus on muscle strengthening/stretching/relaxation, reflective poetry at the end of each session.

Tuesday October 6 & October 20th 1pm

Family Face Off Game with Matt Cleveland. Play a game similar to “Family Feud”. Gather your friends via zoom and Let’s Play Family Face off. Winners will receive a small prize via the mail.


Wednesdays at 9:00am

Class: Zumba

Description: Anna Wilton, 9am, dance to the sounds of Latin and American music. No dance experience needed with students moving and can move with their comfort level. Only equipment needed is comfortable clothing and shoes.

Wednesdays at 5:30pm

Class: Barre Class w/Susan

Description: Susan Null, 5:30PM, “Barre Class;” combines ballet inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga, and strength training.  This is a low impact workout that focuses on posture, proper alignment, balance, strength, and stability.  This class is great for all fitness levels.  Class always starts with a warmup and then the strength training is weaved in and out of the ballet inspired songs.  Each class ends with some abdominal work, yoga and stretching.  Modifications are always provided for those who may not be able to do the more active movements. No dance experience is required. The materials needed for class will be light hand weights (3-5 pounds), a chair, loop resistance bands, and a mat.  Participants will use their own equipment.

BINGO- play BINGO with Office of Aging staff using BINGO cards that are mailed to you ahead of time. Winners will receive a small prize in the mail.

Fridays at 11:00am

Class: Move Your Body w/Wendy

Description: Wendy Serfass, 11AM, “Move Your Body;” class will incorporate a variety of exercise moves, and will be fun for all fitness levels, exercises will focus on stretching, balance, and movement.  Participants can sit or stand for the class.  Students will use their own equipment: a chair, stretch bands, a small ball, and a small container (e.g. empty coffee can).
