Please Note If You Are Planning to Visit

Beginning Monday, May 14th, contractors for “101NQ” (the new building across the street) will begin setup of a large scaffolding system along the Orange Street and Queen Street facades. This process will take approximately 2-1/2 weeks. They will start on Orange Street (at Christian St), and continue installation for approximately 1-1/2 weeks on this façade. They will then continue on Queen Street for about a week performing the same installation.

Parking and/or lane restrictions may be necessary during unloading activity; these would mostly be contained to the Orange Street turn lane and Queen Street parking along the building.

During the erection of the scaffolding, pedestrians will not be permitted and will be detoured to the other side of the street. Upon completion, the scaffolding will be a pedestrian safety walk-thru scaffolding system, so that pedestrians may continue use of the sidewalk during the work. The scaffolding is expected to remain for at least 90 days during brick removal and other work planned for the facade. The interior scaffolding dimensions are approximately 7’ tall by 7’ wide, and temporary string lights will be provided. It will also be open to the street as much as possible for safety and visibility.
